Roxanne Louise is a Hypnotherapist, Dowser, Reiki Master, and Stress Management Expert who divides her time between private practice, teaching classes both locally, on the internet, and at multiple national conferences yearly. She is a Past President of the American Society of Dowsers, conducted 47 informative teleconferences for them for more than 2 years, and has written numerous books and a prodigious blog. She is known for her ability to integrate multiple modalities for a powerful synergistic effect that enables profound healing not possible with one modality alone, and in a way not previously done by others. Her specializes in mental and emotional healing, stress management, mind-body healing, and creative problem solving.

'HYPNOTISM HALLMARK AWARD' presented to Roxanne Louise from the National Guild of Hypnotists at their August 2019 convention. This is one of their highest awards, and is given to "a member who carries on the legacy by teaching and sharing knowledge." They mentioned I have been at this since 1989 (30 years)!
'OUTSTANDING SERVICE AWARD' presented to Roxanne Louise from the American Society of Dowsers on June 29, 2019 for conducting two teleconferences monthly since 2017.
'LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT' Award presented to Roxanne Louise from the National Association of Transpersonal Hypnotherapists at their annual conference, November, 2018. This award is not given every year. Roxanne is a regular presenter and also a Member of the Advisory Board. This was her 6th national award in hypnosis on top of the one given in dowsing.
'EDUCATOR of the YEAR' Award presented to Roxanne Louise from the American Society of Dowsers on June 16, 2018, and also accepted as a Member of the Board of Trustees.She opened her business as Unlimited Potential in New Jersey in 1989, which she ran in Fairfield, Montclair, West Orange and Roseland until 2008. She opened a central Virginia satellite office in 2002, which became full-time in 2009 and is now based in Faber, VA just south of Charlottesville.

Professional Teaching Tour: In 1997 Roxanne taught 2-day classes in HypnoReiki, a Mind-Body Healing course integrating Reiki with hypnosis techniques geared to Physicians, Reiki Practitioners and Pranic Healers, and also Pendulum Workshops in a month-long, 6 city teaching/private client tour throughout all of India.
Roxanne was active in the early days of the New Jersey Chapter of the National Guild of Hypnotists. She set up speakers for monthly meetings, and wrote the newsletter for a couple of years. During challenges to the hypnosis profession in New Jersey during those years, she was also extremely active as a lobbyist to stop takeover of hypnosis by psychologists.
In addition, she has given innumerable seminars and workshops throughout the country for both professionals and laymen in mind-body healing and self-help techniques.

Her mission is to teach the general public powerful and significant ways that they can help themselves, and to train helping professionals to a higher level of thoroughness and excellence. Both in her classes and her books, she is widely respected for her original thinking, and being comprehensive while making the subject matter easy to understand.

She has also written a hypnotherapy training manual, created many short booklets, as well hypnosis and seminar tapes, office forms for Hypnotherapists, and various inspirational and laminated charts. All are available for sale through our Book Store.
Before starting Unlimited Potential, Roxanne was a professional classical singer for 20 years, performing on every major hall in NYC (except Avery Fisher) and many music festivals with many world renown groups. She sang in the professional chorus of NYC Opera (10 years), NYC Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Joffrey Ballet, Netherlands Ballet, Bach Aria Group, Ars Musica, Friends of French Opera, Little Orchestra Society, NJ State Opera, and many more. She was a full fellow with Aspen Music Festival for three seasons. She was orchestra and oratorio soloist with multiple groups throughout the greater NYC region. She taught singing for many years, and wrote a small volume on classical singing technique now out of print. She was also Executive Secretary to the Orchestra Manager for the Metropolitan Opera. She studied with world reknown artists and voice teachers in NYC, Boston and Maine.
Before that, she worked several years as the professional vocational counselor for the State of Massachusetts in Boston, a vocational consultant to local jail, and college dormitory mother in Portland, Maine, a caseworker in NYC Department of Welfare (Chinatown, Bowery and the Lower East Side), and a high school social studies teacher in Newark, NJ.
Roxanne is a graduate of Montclair State College, NJ with many courses taken elsewhere: the New School for Social Research, NYC, University of Maine, Boston University, Harvard Extension, among others. Her hypnosis training of almost 2000 classroom hours, which started in 1987, is with the finest professionals in the field.
In 2009, she started Back to Basics--Creating Sustainability and Conscious Community to assist local people develop resiliency. The group, which is now inactive, had multiple meetings per year, and some field trips. Roxanne also wrote dozens of newsletters for the group.
In 2013, she founded Central Virginia Dowsers for training and ongoing monthly support committed to creating a strong, vibrant dowsing community for the practical assistance, healing and enhancement of the individual members and the community at large.
Today Roxanne continues to write, work with clients both in person and online, lecture widely and is available as a trainer or seminar presenter anywhere in the world for sufficient enrollment. She now is actively developing online training programs and support programs for her private clients, hypnosis and dowsing students.
